DDC #39

It's all about FRIENDS at Digi Darla's this week and we are being sponsored by Beccy's Place and she gave some of our DT's an image to work with and I was one of the lucky ones! I chose 'Holly Fairy'

I colored her with copic markers. The bling and paper is from my stash, the ribbon and the ornament punches are from SU. The sentiments are from MDS. Oh and it is a gatefold card!

I also made a friendship card using a Digi Darla image.

'A Mouse and his Cheese'

I used prisma colored pencils for coloring, a die cut from SU. The flowers and the sequins are from my stash. This is a round easel card

I thought this image was perfect bc the mouse looks like he's sharing his cheese!

At Jackson's Digital Expressions we are challenged to create a CAS but there is a twist...You have to use some patterned paper. I thought my 'Lil Matadore' would be perfect, isn't he cute!

I don't do bull fights bc I ALWAYS WANT THE BULL TO WIN! Colored him with copic markers and fussy cut him out (didn't get too fussy though!) I tried to keep it masculine which is hard cuz I like girlie swirlie things. Added some gold stickles on his outfit. Thanks to Elizabeth, I have stickles in every color! My patterned paper and bling is from my stash. I embossed with a folder from SU in my Bigshot.

This week at Created With Love Challenges, we are challenged to create a project using fall colors!

All the stamps I used are SU. I colored them with prisma colored pencils. I love my window. The bling and paper are from my stash!

LMCB #116

This challenge from Lasting Memories is called 'Naked Layouts' because we didn't use any pictures!
When we were figuring out challenges, our DT Tina said naked LO's to get our attention but she was kidding! I told Karen we could actually do 'Naked LO's' just don't add any pix!
So I did a fav poem or prayer and then added a blank place for a pic later.

The DSP is from SU. The poem or prayer was e-mailed to me and I did all the journaling in WORD. I embossed with a cuttle bug folder in my Big shot.

The rest of the embellies are from my stash. Oh I used a punch from SU on my label.

I was so honored to use and show off my Grandmother's 'Gold Tiara'!

A special prayer for my Grandmother!

I can see this being a mandatory tradition!

At Digi Darla's we are challenging you to create a project that represents being Thankful/Thanksgiving.

I used 2 Digi Darla images (Fall Pumpkin & Cornucopia) I saw this card on my friend Annie's blog, she does such wonderful things! I had to try it! I popped up my images with pop dots, after I fussy cut them out.

Colored my digis with copic markers and prisma colored pencils. My sentiment is from SU and I stamped it on a punch from SU also.

Created With Love Challenges is challenging use to create a birthday project but there is a twist! Use a n0 on your project! I made a Birthday Card. I used a very CUTE digi from Digi Darla's!

Isn't it just absolutely adorable! Find tons more HERE! I colored it with copic markers and I added some embellies that I won from my friend Dawn and Pizzazz Oplenty. Of course I added some stickles for some extra bling! My DSP is from SU.

At Jackson's Digital Expressions, they have a sketch challenge for us! I love sketches!

I followed this sketch and used a JDE image that I thought was PERFECT!

I colored my 'Who's Ready For Turkey?' image with prisma colored pencils and fussy cut it out. My DSP & CS are from SU. I used an embossing folder from SU also.

It's time for another new challenge at Digi Darla's!
Let's see those favorite die cuts! Well I have alot of favs but this one is the Bigz Lattice from SU.

I colored my DD image Fairy Good Girl 6 with copic markers and fussy cut her out and added stickles to her wings. It's a sliding easel card and it wasn't very simple. LOL!

My sentiment is stamped from a set from SU also!

I printed out my digi, colored it with prisma colored pencils and then scanned it and added it back in MDS as a pic! Of course I used my digital software from SU, MDS! I played with it until my ribbon looked weaved thru my fence!

This actually is a two page spread but the 2nd page is only journaling and I just figured out a way to make the journaling, just one page cuz there is alot.

Digitally 'Sweet' Challenges

I couldn't resist doing another LO for Digitally Sweet! This is my Grandmother at 80 yrs old, isn't she GLAMOROUS!? I followed my very first attempt at making a sketch!

My Grandmother passed away a couple of years ago and I still miss her terribly!!!

(Tell your LOVED ones daily, how much you love them!!!)

This card was supposed to be like my friend Annie's creation, but it came out nothing like Annie's! But I guess it's OK!:(
I colored my image with prisma colored pencils and added lots of dimensional dots!

My image is called Lil' Scary from 'Jacksons Digital Expressions' CHECK THEM OUT.

All I kept thinking was this song that my mother used to sing "DOES YOUR CHEWING GUM LOOSE IT'S FLAVOR ON THE BED POST OVERNITE, WHEN YOU CHEW IT IN THE MORNING, WILL IT BE TO HARD TO BITE...

Actually I found it FUN! Just like making a LO, only no pics or color! Easy Peasy. Here's what I did!

This was last Thanksgiving.
