Lasting Memories #108

Good morning my friends! It's Sun. and that means a new challenge at
Lasting Memories! AUTUMN SPLENDOR! So let's see those fall photos or fall colors...
Just look at those wonderful colors. Look at how many pics I got on this two pager! (37 to be exact) On the right side I used one of my fav techniques for adding more photos. Quilting your scrapbooks. I cut 12 diamonds out of my photos and shaped them into a star. Everything else is from my rather large stash! I made some frames out of punches.
(Nothing is digital. imagine that!)

Jacksons Digital Expressions

This week at Jacksons Digital Expressions is to use PINK on your creation for Breast Cancer Awareness! Won't you please join me? I picked just the digi I wanted to use for my card but they do have some BREAST CANCER AWARENESS digi's! I picked "DIVA" and colored her gown pink with prisma colored pencils. Embossed some metallic silver paper with an embossing folder from SU as well as the label. The DSP, I have no clue. Bling from my stash.

I used Digi Darla's "Curious Monkey" I colored with prisma colored pencils and cut it out with nestabilities and popped up the image with some foam.
The flower is made from a circle punch. My sentiment I printed with MDS

Digitally Sweet #3

I used this sketch that Ali mostly made for this two page spread at
Digitally Sweet Challenges (using my software from SU, MDS)
I finally found out how to put the two pages together! LOL!
These are my 2 doggies, one's a girl and one's a boy (as if you couldn't tell!)
COOL HUH! I like doing these 2 pagers, especially when's one's feminine and one's masculine. This sketch is COOL!

Lasting Memories #107

Good Morning! It's time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories. "Ribbon, Lace and some pink. Of course I did some shopping on Facebook (but I asked for permission to steal these pics. Even though she told me take whatever I like, I still ask?)
I did use this optional sketch suppled by Lasting Memories by
But I did have to kind of jiggle it around to suit my pics. I made some balloons out of my ribbon You really can't tell from the pic but I framed all my pics with pink and my lace is pink as well! I used a word window punch for my journaling from SU.

Jacksons Digital Expressions

Jacksons Digital Expressions has a Color challenge this week!
They are being sponsored by My Heart Pieces but I chose to make a card with my Robert Jackson image.
Colored it with Prisma colored pencils and of course, I added stickles but you really can't see it in the pic. I put real T-ninesy brads on my mask and embossed it with a cuttle bug folder and a SU folder.

DDC #29

Here is my card for Dgi Darla's!  Using an image from DDSC. Colored with prisma colored pencils. The image is called Sweet Pea.

OOPS! I almost forgot to post my card! There was this huge tornado and it threw my house up in the air and I thought I was Dorothy (from wizard of oz)
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! LOL! FORGIVE ME!

Jacksons Digital Expressions #22

The challenge at Jacksons Digital Expressions is Clean and Simple which is one of the very hardest for me! I actually like my card but it was hard not to fill up EVERY corner! Maybe it's cuz, I like my image! (which I got from
Jacksons Digital Expressions)
Bug-a-boo is sponsoring them this time around and they have some terrific images also and I do have a couple since they sponsor Digi Darla alot and I'm on the DT there.
Actually this is a hybrid card, I made from MDS and I printed out my angel (isn't she cute!) and colored her with prisma pencils. It's hard to see in the photo but I applied stickles on her wings and her eyeshadow! (Love putting make-up on these images cuz the eyes are so beautiful and her face is so big) I hope this is considered CAS cuz I don't think I can put on any less!

My Second Entry for Digitally Sweet

The challenge is "Anything Goes w/ flowers" (as long as it is completely DIGITAL at Digitally Sweet Challenges.)
This is my sis, my girl cousins and my Uncle Coy at my Grandmothers funeral a couple of years ago. Kimberly brought me this pic so I scrapbooked it! This is all digital made with MDS. I used a sketch. I have never used any of the kits but they are awesome but I always change everything to suit me or my pic (it ends up looking nothing like the kit. so I don't even try anymore! LOL!)
WHAT IS CLEAN AND SIMPLE? (I really can't do that bc the more I look at it, THE MORE STUFF I HAVE TO PUT ON IT! LOL! "sometimes it ends up looking like a decorated piece of paper which is pretty but the pic is lost! LOL!)
IN COVENTIONAL SCRAPBOOKING "LOOK UNDER A PIECE OF FURNITURE. you're bound to find some dust bunnies, that's texture and if you have animals, you're bound to find hair "Oh Cat Hair". that's fiber!

Lasting Memories #106

It's Sunday and that means it's a new challenge at Lasting Memories. Follow this sketch and add flowers to your LO!

These are some pics I took of my cousin's beautiful yard in Galveston!
I made a lattice out of a decorative border punch from SU and the flourishes are from Bigz die cut for the Bigshot from SU. I quilled some flowers and the leaves are sequins from my stash. Both styles of my labels are from SU also

DD (Oval Poppy "color")
This a middle stairstep card, The frame was made with MDS, then I cut out some layers with nestabilities.

Digitally Sweet Challenges #1

This is my second entry for Digitally Sweet which Karen and I started. Digital is very FUN! The challenge is to make a creation with multiple photos. Lots of AWESOME talent out there! I used my Stampin' Up software, MDS.
This was just last week-end, it will be a two page spread.  I water marked a pic from the visit for the background.

Lasting Memories #105

Good Morning!!! It's Sunday and Lasting Memories has a brand new challenge. Everybody loves to go to the movies and we are challenged to pick a movie title or a quote from a movie or just anything "Movie" I picked the movie "BIG"
Remember that scene when they were playing the big piano on the floor? Tom Hanks had his tennis shoes on. If you need a little more help, here's an awesome sketch from Ashley Horton.
I did kinda try to use the sketch but it turned out different.

Jackson Digital Expressions # 21

The challenge at Jackson Digital Expressions is to make "Anything but a Card" so I am making a pet scrapbook and the pages are only 7x7. It's a hybrid two page spread and I used this delightful image from Jackson Digital Expressions called "BOW WOW" This is one of three images I won last challenge WooHoo! This doggie kinda looks like Sam
I made the main LO with MDS and isn't my image cute! Colored him with copic markers and then fussy cut him out and popped him up

Digitally Sweet Challenges #1

The challenge is to use multiple photos on your creation as long as it is 100% digital. I'm so excited about our first challenge. When I first started creating digital I couldn't find a challenge blog devoted solely for this, I even asked ALI, now I have! Karen is responsible for this, she approached me with this and I'M READY! With digital, you get to use your mind and not waste a thing bc if you don't like it just do it again. The only thing that is wasted is your time! So don't let it intimidate you! It's Fun!!! I use Stampin' Up software "MDS".
I chose a LO! but you can do a card with muliple photos, your own blog
header, a cover photo for your FB profile or a cover for a book.....
My blog candy is a surprise so make a comment and you just might win my
candy!

Jackson's Digital Expressions #20

It's Anything goes with an optional sketch.  They have numerous give aways for Robert's Birthday! Check it out here! Anyhoo when I saw this image, I KNEW I HAD TO HAVE HER! I even got to put make-up on her, which I was thrilled! (being a cosmetologist, I love that! It's kinda like playing with dolls! I was always applying make-up and fixing the hair on all my dolls and they were always stylin'!)
I chose to use the sketch.

This is one of Robert Jackson's Digi's! (Pucker Up) Colored her with prisma colored pencils and I added some stickles on her eye shadow and earrings but you can hardly see it in the pic. Also used the Lattice Bigz Die in the Bigshot and my label is from SU. The sentiment was done on WORD. The paper and bling are  from my stash.
