Digi Darla's Very Valentine's and a Sponsor

Digi Darla has a sponsor this week ! Here's the card I created using the image Robyn's Fetish. I made three images of the bee, put them on a lrg. flower that I put on a round card cut from my cricut and embossed with my cuttlebug. Oh, I painted my bee with paintbrush.
Here's my little Bear Next door by Digi Darla. Isn't she cute!
I colored her with copic markers (boy are they proud of their markers, thought maybe they danced or something) I used my SU digital software for my base card, then added my image with pop-dots (guess that makes it a hybrid, huh!)
I did add a die cut from SU (my sweetest stem) and the flowers are from my stash.
This is a freebie from Digi Darla.
You still have time to enter and she suppled us with a very cute digi.
ENTER HERE
Guess what else?! You can earn this freebie.  Check out all the details when you enter you creation. I did!!!
I painted mine up in copic markers and then changed it to sepia to match my pix. You can color it any way you want. I made a LO of my great nephew! A photographer came to his day care and took pix. He looks like Huckleberry Finn and he posed for these pix. HE'S ONLY 3!!!

Paper Lovin' Gals #16

What inspires you about this photo? You can create anything and let's see your inspiration! Check it out here!
I made an Easel Card for my friend that is retiring :(
For the lattice I used the Lattice die from SU on my Big Shot (Love it!)The branch with flowers are stickers from Hobby Lobby. The butterflies are a die from SU on the Big Shot also. the label & stamped sentiment are from SU also.

Trash those LO'S

Check out all the incredible LO's by the DT members.
There is several of us that make these glass pieces using those little flat glass beads. I myself like to make pictures and most of the others like to make designs. I made the peacock and my friend made the circles.
To me they look like stained glass so I used my Big Shot and cut out several Lattice die cuts and saved the negative images and placed the different colors in the holes and made frames.

I created a card front with My Digital Studio.

The butterfly fairy

This is Digi Darla's butterfly fairy (a freebie, isn't she cute!) It's perfect for Digi Darla's Challenge "Happiness is:" and Danni's flutter by wednesday challenge which is open as long as you have your butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation!
I colored my digi in Paintbrush (a free program) and I used my SU digital software I made my digi the main focus of the card. Also made my back ground the same color as I made the background on my digi so it would look like I removed the background

Lasting Memories sketch #1

Lasting Memories has added sketches to their challenges for fun as of right now! What a lovely sketch this is!  This is an Ashley Horton sketch. I don't know about you but I love sketches.

Digi Darla Happiness is...!

There's a new challenge blog and the digi's are awesome! It's Digi Darla's and check it out here!
I used a total of 4 digi's. I really like these digi's so I decided to make this card kinda funny!
I colored these with a free program called paintbrush and I used my digital software from Stampin' Up.

Fantabulous Cricut #93

Fantabulous Cricut challenged us to make a Man Card using our Cricut and I had to use my new expression. Suzanne alerted several of us to this challenge.
I cut out my ship using the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. It's a pirate ship and I used real dial size and cut it out twice and then I cut out my skull and cross bones. I made it into an easel card and folded my glitter paper to somewhat mimic waves
I made this card for my great nephew.

A La Card Monkey #90

What a cute sketch A La Card Monkey has for us this week!
The challenge is use this and use something new to you! I got some new digitals!

Woo Hoo The 1st challenge at LMCB "Getting to know you"

First of all a big CONGRATS to the new DT!

Welcome back:

Guess what? I am challenge coordinator so now I'm a permanent fixture! I'M very honored!
I generally hate pics of myself but I guess we need to do a couple! I chose to write about my on-line friends which are a VERY BIG and IMPORTANT part of my life as I am betting yours too!

Paper Lovin' Gal's #13

Another beautiful inspiration photo from Paper Lovin' Gals! I sure do love these photos! I decided to make a cheer up card (Hope it helps) I made it for my sister's family who got a bit of bad news. I chose the birdie and I hope it gets a little chuckle.

Flutterby Wednesday #184

At Flutterby this week the challenge is "anything goes" as long as you use a butterfly, fairy or an angel on you creation.
I choose to do some quilling and I added 2 glitter buttons (a dragonfly and a BUTTERFLY) It turns out these cutesy little cards are note cards so I put 2 together and made an easel card.

Feeling Punchy

I made this card for 2 challenges. SUO, which means Stampin' Up Only and A La Card Monkey. A La Card Monkey had this really cute sketch and SORRY no digital!
I could have cuz I have this punch in MDS as well!

SUO asked us to use our punches and I knew I was going to use my owl punch from SU. Isn't this just the cutest little owl and you get to dress him (or her) too! I used all SU. except for the foil CS. (OOPS!) I hope it still counts!

I also used my bird punch from SU for the leaves and the branches.  I made the label with the four frames punch and stamp and my stamp-a-ma-jig. It's really cool that SU has matching punches for some of their images, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CAN'T CUT A STRAIGHT LINE LIKE ME!
(I have a hard time with even numbers and I had four branches on my card so I had to do another. My friends told me that was the SILLIEST thing they ever heard of! If you ask me it's OCD! LOL!)

Lasting Memories #69

This is just friendly reminder about the DT call at Lasting Memories! I liked the sketch so much I did a second LO! Sam-bo loved the snow. This was a few days ago here in El Paso but today it's over 60 degrees (GO FIGURE!) Lasting Memories has extended the deadline to JAN. 4th at 6pm EST.

Paper Lovin' Gal's #12

Paper Lovin' Gals has another beautiful inspirational photo for us! So "what inspires you in this photo?"
I see birthdays, time, the blue colors...
