The gift

I made this digital for my friend Sally. It's of her kids wedding. I got to do elegant, I guess that's my style because I absolutely LOVE IT! It was quite challenging because I tried to make the ribbon weave thru my paper pieces. I figured it out, it's probably not the right way but it worked.

Sketch & Lasting Memories challenge #35

HI, me again with another digital!  My brother looks like (one wrong move and I'M GONE!)  and I look like "hurry up and take the pic and then give me what you promised!"
I found this paper in my stash and it is almost the same as my digital! I added some blingy flowers to the LO.

A few digitals.

 These are a few digitals!
I'm like Karen (addicted). Love it! Finally something that helps me create LO's and cards a little faster. This is my friend and her daughters in Japan!
I red-lined my digital LO, after I laminated it, to some paper I got from Sam's. Added some rub-ons from Hobby Lobby, a puffy sticker and some bling and WHA-LA.

This one I used a sketch from Sketches in Thyme, I saw when I was looking at her gorgeous LO and I really liked the sketch. I had some digi's that were printed on vellum from Stef at Glitterbabe's. I also red-lined taped it to paper from Sam's.
I couldn't decide what card to give my friend for Easter (I think both are good!)
I down-loaded the pics from free Easter pictures on the web. Then made easel cards and redlined taped the images on the card. I put a stopper with pop dots, bling, and flowers that I had.
 Got this picture from my
sister's FB page and I thought it was cute! My sister and my Grandmother must of been on the same wave link because I thought their favorite color was blue and turquoise and NOW IT'S PURPLE!
I taped this on some paper from Lone Star in Conroe and added some rub-ons.

Lasting Memories challenge #35.

This digital LO is a pic of a neighbor's cat, that thinks he's lending a helping hand (paw!) I opened the garage door and he marched right in like he owned the place!
I chose a black and white LO because of his color.
I added some extra bling and cut a couple of tags out with my Cuttlebug. I did redline tape it to some black and white designer paper I got from Hobby Lobby.I also did a little journaling with Word.

It's all about Easter at Lasting Memories.

When I got my cast off last year, I was delighted. I wasn't able to do any crafts but I could do some haircuts and drive, although the cops wouldn't have liked it. Hence, (the one armed bandit.) (I COULD drive better than some with one arm!
I got these eggs at Michaels and decorated them with quilling. I mounted them on a block of wood.  I also got a glitter egg at Michaels and made a 3-D dragon for my friend for Easter cuz she collects dragons.  I made the motorcycle for my brother in law. Of course the
Easter eggs needed some bling!

Scrapbookers Anonymous in April.

Over at scrapbookers Anonymous we were asked to use a minimum of 23 eyelets. I used 28. I'm quite pleased with this LO! I made this for my friends of their Grand-daughter. Thanks Gina and Haelee and Phil.
I used some textured card stock and did my journaling with Word. I printed the motorcycle on mydigitalstudio.net from SU and colored it yellow and then laminated it. I cut out a label with my cuttlebug. I used my word window and oval punch from SU. Also I used the Paper Lace cartridge from the cricut (which is COOL!) I did use some rub-ons and I put just one bling jewel on the bow I made.

Easter Lasting Memories challenge #34

There was always someone around with a camera. This Easter photo was my brother and I in 1961. Aren't we cute?
I used my digital studio from SU (amazing!) I also added some rub-ons around my LO. I made the heart in my digital program and then cut it out and applied it using pop dots from Michaels.
My client told me I like all that swirly, girly stuff. I DO!!!

Journaling Lasting Memories #33

I wanted to make this 2 page spread and journaling before I forgot some of the things that Grandmother said. Oh, there was alot more but all the journaling didn't fit.
Of course I used my digital program. I'm having to glue my 8.5x11 to 12x12 scrapbook paper. My printer doesn't print that wide. The black and white paper, I got from Hobby Lobby and the black lace paper which I only had one of, I got from a friend. I had to cut in half.

Lasting Memories challenge #33

 "
This week at Lasting Memories we did a journaling page which usually I hate to do but with SU digital program it is pretty easy and word is pretty easy also but I used my digital studio.
In no way do I condone killing birds but this story is pretty hilarious!
I added some rub-ons and some bling. I laminated the pictures and glued them down with red-line tape on textured cardstock and DL the book cover from the web.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE ELSES JOURNALING CUZ I'M SURE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HATES JOURNALING!
JOURNALING IS VERY IMPORTANT!

Spring Tulips

I made this digital LO for my friend who visited there this spring! He felt bad cuz I had a lousy spring! The Tulips are beautiful, DON'T YOU THINK SO?!
I know, I'm really into this digital stuff. I like it!

Grandmother's wake

I made this two page spread cuz tomorrow is one year without our beloved Grandmother!
My other cousin was there. He came the day before and tried to stay thru the week-end but he couldn't!
This my digital LO of Grandmother's wake and I added some rub-ons too.
We sure do miss you and save us a good seat!

Spring, Lasting Memories challenge #32

I made this two page spread of last years spring bloom at my house (It's always beautiful but this year NOT SO MUCH! We had a hard freeze that El Paso is not prepared for! The palm tree's, all look pretty SAD! (amongst other things) My greenhouse used to be a jungle but it echoes now. Looks like EVERYTHING froze but I'm still hopeful!
I hadn't scrapped these yet. GOOD THING.
My neighbor's wisteria inter-mingled with my banks rose.
I used my digital SU program
and added some rub-ons and
flowers and bling.
