At Lasting Memories, we would like you to use any kind of footprints on your LO! (people, bears dogs, cats ect...) In my case, I used bird tracks! We are being sponsored by the talented Digi Darla's and my Snipe bird looks like this hummingbird from Digi Darla's. My Grandfather took us snipe hunting until we realized there was no such thing! LOL!
I used this wonderful sketch supplied by Lasting Memories by PageMaps.
Time for another challenge at Digi Darla's. This time we have a sketch which is Karen's 1st sketch, didn't she do a bang up job!
I made a gatefold card and planned to copy the sketch verbatim but when I got my clown on (which is an awesome image, don't you think!) I didn't have room (poor planning!) for my sentiment so I added it in the juggling balls! I embossed it with cuttlebug folders.
At Lasting Memories we're celebrating MOM! I chose to do a LO with my lovely MOM doing what she did for a living. COOL HUH!
I did follow the sketch and you can too if you want but you don't have to.
My LO is a hybrid. It's only part digital.
I printed it and laminated and added my quilling border around my pic (I think it looks like lace!) Also found these newspaper articles and they fit the sketch (I know my border is missing a jewel, I replaced it after I took the photo) This is how I remember my MOM, she passed away at 32. My swag (above the pic is from the TERRIFIC Digi Darla!
AND IF YOU ENTER YOU COULD WIN A $20 GC from a2z scrapbooking, Awesome Huh! More details at Lasting Memories and wish Elizabeth a Happy Happy Birthday and THANK HER FOR THIS AWESOME giveaway! DON'T FORGET TO FOLLOW LASTING MEMORIES!
This week at Digi Darla's we have a lovely inspirational photo and we are being sponsored by Floppy Latte. What do you see in this photo.
I see embossing, flowers and the breezy color of blue. Here's my Digi Darla's card.
It's called "Pitcher of Flowers". I colored it with copics and cut it out, embossed with SU embossing folder in my BigShot, roughed up with an emery board and then chalked it. My sentiment is from MDS.
It's called "Graduation pendant". I painted it and removed the background in Paintbrush. This is my Uncle Coy in 1958. I did (what I think looks like embossing) and put that on some drawers and to add my blue in I did an overlay in blue and digitally inked in blue.
This week is "something smells fishy" at Lasting memories! Use anything fishy, a fishing experience, catch of the day ect...Fun huh. I did a LO of my Great nephew learning how to ride a 2 wheeler, right now he needs 4 wheels but soon my BIL, Dennis will have him graduated to a motorcycle!
He does have quite a few helpers! LOL!
My fishy-ness is his shark helmet and these Digi Darla's digi's for my background paper. Find more awesome digi's here. My layout is digital from my Stampin' Up digital software.
The winner will win a $10.00 Gift Certificate from
We are celebrating Mom (A Grandmother, an Aunt ect....)
I used two digi's!
This is an easel card with2 extra easels. I painted both with copics and cut them out with spellbinders on the1st small easel I used a bird stamp with a matching punch from Stampin' Up and on the 2nd small easel I used a lattice punch from Martha Stewart and added some quilling on the front and the 2nd small easel! (Love Quilling!)
The digis I used are "A Mother holds Hearts" and "Celebrate Mom"
You can find other awesome digi's here or to get new releases sooner become a member of the sisterhood here.

This week we are digging for metal. I didn't dig much, mine is digital and I have all these metal embellishments in my SU digital software! You can use this awesome sketch to get you started.
Use any kind of metal you have like embossing thin metal, metal tags, brads, metal buttons ect... I used labels, brads and washers. Also I used the sketch and there are plenty of places to use metal, if you use the sketch!
WE'RE BEING SPONSORED BY SUZANNE!
If you win you will win a $10.00 gift card from Michaels.
A couple of weeks ago, I entered a card here and I WON!!! It was the YELLOW challenge with Digi Darla's "PARROTS" and I made a popped up flower of Tiffany Doodles. This is one of the beautiful images I won from Tiffany Doodles. I love peacocks!
The challenge at Color Me Creative is to use copic markers or any other alcohol based marker's or colored pencil's and ...
Color Images that CELEBRATE something....birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, showers, weddings, etc....as long as your projects CELEBRATE some special event!
I find peacock's very colorful. I colored my peacock with Copic Markers and I made a frame out of a lace border punch from Stampin' Up, Of course I had to add some bling. I made my sentiment with MDS.
