Paper Lovin' Gals #24

Paper Lovin' Gals wants to know what inspires us with this beautiful inspiration photo?
I see a fence and some spring flowers!
I colored my cutsie bunny I got from digi darla's new releases and of course made an easel card.I cut out my pieces for the card with spell binder's. I also cut out a fence with my cricut (paper doll dress up) the flowers & butterfies are from my stash and I used my 4 frames and punch and sentiment from Stampin' Up.

DDC #6 "Buttons"

Time another fantastic challenge at Digi Darla's! We want to see those buttons on your creation!
Digi Darla has been very gracious and we are all going to give you the image we used if you win and to get all the rules and check out all the other inspiration click here.
I must confess, my image is not a new release but a Bonus! (Isn't it an adorable image though?!)
I colored the "Bunny Bouquet" with copics and I cut it out with spell binders. It didn't cut out all the way and I didn't want to throw it away, so I MADE IT WORK!
The buttons are from my stash, as well as my bow. The lace border was punched out using a border punch from SU.

Lasting Memories #81

We would like to see how you layer up your LO's! (Paper, flowers, embellishments ect.) or even digital layering like me! I tried to follow this beautiful sketch but then I kind of ventured off. If this sketch gives you inspiration please  use it!
I found this wonderful photo of Rev. Watts and my Grandmother. The Rev. and his congregation gave a sun.morning service to Mountain view nursing care facility every Sun. (without fail!) My Grandmother looked forward to every Sun. and she would tell me "He gives all the women a kiss on the forehead and if you lived here, he'd give you a kiss on the forehead too!" Well, I didn't live there but I GOT MY KISS ON THE FOREHEAD every Sun.!
We have a sponsor, you could win a gift certificate from:

Flutterby #195

I'm entering this in an open challenge for Flutterby! As long as we have an angel, fairy or a butterfly on our project. This beautiful Irish Maiden is an image from Digi Darla's! (She's absolutely beautiful and this was the hardest digi I ever colored but I guess I loved it bc I always pick hard things to do!) I made an easel card, of course. I cut out frames with my BigShot, I also used a border punch from SU and the bling & flowers are from  my stash. I started this thinking of sending to the children's hospital last challenge but I guess I wasn't thinking, THE CHALLENGE WAS ALREADY OVER! I'll still send it if it fits the rules, there is alot of choking hazards on it but I did add extra holding glue and it is for one of the older girls. (SO CAN SOMEONE LET ME KNOW!)

Now that your mouth is watering for one of these stellar prizes....take a look at my project.

I made a waterfall card with four Digi's from Digi Darla's, painted them with a free program called "Paint brush" It has a DL for both Windows and Mac! It took minutes to paint with the auto-fil! (It stays in the lines better than I do! LOL!) Although it doesn't paint all the way to the lines, it was to teeninesy too see (at least for my eyes!)
These waterfall cards are pretty COOL!

You can find directions to make this card on YouTube. Just pull the leaf on the bottom and your pics fall like a waterfall and my images were perfect for Spring (don't ya think!) I stamped in SPRING! All the rest of the embellies were in my stash also. I've had them so long, I don't even remember where they came from but I am sure I needed them at the time! LOL!

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #

Stampin' Sisters in Christ is based on scripture and here is the scripture this week, there's a new challenge & scripture every Sunday

SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 5: 8-9 “You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light, for light produces every kind of goodness and righteousness and truth.”

CHALLENGE:
Create a card or project that uses both dark and light. Opposite colors; black/white, brown/ivory, deep blue/baby blue, red/pink etc.
And here is my card. I chose to make a birthday card for my cousin whose birthday is at the end of the month. I used my digital software from SU and I redlined taped it to an easel card I made (my fav) I also used a vintage lace punch and popped it up with dimensional's (also from SU) My happy birthday label was punched out and stamped (from SU also!) I did the journaling from WORD.

Dustin Pike's cards for Emily

This card is for darling little Emily! What an adorable image to work with.
Dustin Pike's images are truly awesome and talk about some excellent coloring. I NEED SOME LESSONS! I used my digital software from Stampin' Up on my main base card. Then I made an easel card (one of my fav.) Found these foam letters and popped them up with dimensional's Of course, I had to add bling! Every little girl and big girl needs bling!

Paper Lovin' Gals #22

I really had a tough time with this one! It is beautiful but I think my brain was in shut down mode! LOL! Anyhoo I just started applying stuff with my digital software and this is what I came out with! It did come out kinda cool though.
I see layers and layers!
This card will be an easel card, as I love easel cards (The colors are so much more brilliant with the computer than my camera)

Digi Darla "April showers"

Digi Darla's is being sponsored by Tiffany Doodles! You can find her sight by clicking on Tiffany Doodle's on my sidebar. She has some fantastic images.
Here's the card I created with two of her images "Butterfly vase and sentiment Happiness is a butterfly." I colored one with copics and just printed the sentiment. I dry embossed it with my vintage wallpaper folder from SU for the BigShot.
I even kinda decorated the back.
Now for Digi Darla's image!
I also used two images from Digi Darla's and I am quite proud of myself BC it came out so cute! With the "Crissy and umbrella" I colored it with copics and cut her out and then popped her up with dimensionals. For the "Scrap a flower" I colored it with the free "Paintbrush" BC it was too teeny tiny to color myself unless I went blind! LOL! I used it as a wallpaper and printed 16 times. It is safe to say I like easel cards!
I also found some plastic beads in my stash that looked like rain drops.

Lasting Memories "Lucky!" #79

We're feeling "LUCKY" over at Lasting Memories! You must include the word "Lucky" in your LO this week but it doesn't have to be St. Patricks but it certainly can be!
I chose to do my very special friend. Our friends play a very important role in our lives and sometimes we forget to tell them how much we love and appreciate them. Her favorite color is green so it was perfect for a lucky shamrock LO!
Feel free to use this awesome sketch. I chose to use it.
If you enter you could win this awesome giveaway from our very own Suzanne!
When you check out all the fantastic LO's from the DT, you'll find all the details for winning this prize!
(PS. My LO is digital and I used my digital studio from SU.)

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #129

WOW! Thank-you for choosing me as a shining star last week! I'm very honored!
Stampin' Sisters in Christ inspired us to make a card inspired by the scripture
Psalm 91:42 this week. LOVE IT!

Psalm 91:4a "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will
find refuge."
The challenge is to create some thing with wings such as angel, a bird, a butterfly or ect...
Here's what I came up with! My friend brought this mobile over last week and it had these flat little hummingbirds on it so I cut it up, popped it up, added some flowers and made it into an easel card The sentiment is from SU. I made this card for my friend and she'll be thrilled that I could use the parts!
