and it just so happens I am using one of her awesome stamps! When you get a chance check them out! I am using 'Eleanor & Pickles-Egyptian (pre-colored)'
Isn't she just fabulous!
I made an easel card. This is considered a hybrid card because I used my digital software (MDS2) to make a frame around her and a small overlay.
I cut it out using Spellbinders, embossed it with an embossing folder from my friend Audrey, the flowers are from my friend Elizabeth, and the flourishes and butterflies are from SU. I also used stickles that my friend Elizabeth ordered for me (love those stickles and Elizabeth found them for me in every color!) I used a punch from SU and created my sentiment in MDS2.
It's Monday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Digi Darla's!
'AT THE BEACH'
Before that I made this digital card front with MDS2 for the newsletter.
I used DD 'Cinderella is a Proof (sentiment)'
Now onto this weeks challenge.
How do you like my easel card using DD'Vintage Sailing Ship'?
Colored it with prisma colored pencils and cut it out along with my easel card with grand nestabilities and I turned it on it's side. I tore my image slightly and then chalked around it. My wood paper & the dropelets are from my stash. I added stickles to the sails and the windows.
I originally wanted to do a spray of butterflies but I was told butterflies are not for boys!
I love my airplanes! These are pix of my Great Nephew (pre school pictures)
This is not a Digital LO, it's actually paper!
I used a Digi Darla image 'Living Airplane 6', colored in paintbrush because I wanted to print out more than one. I fussy cut out my airplanes. He adores his Grandpa (PaPa) and his PaPa works for the airlines and drives planes so plane's are perfect!
This came out nothing like I had planned but I actually like the way it came out.
Well, technically it's not 100% SU but close to it. My DP is the front and back from SU. I used a lace border punch from SU, cut out my Eiffel Tower and tore it and chalked the edges. Also used a butterfly punch with coordinating stamp. The stickels on my butterfly and flower and the jewels are from my stash. I used a word window punch from SU and so is my sentiment!
It's time for a new challenge at Digi Darlas but before that
Here's the freebie for those of you who receive the Newsletter for the Sisters Club (for this week)
Here's a little something for some inspiration.
Now on to our challenge for this week. It's called
FANCY FOLDS/NO SQUARE CARDS
This is a starfold card. It looks complicated but it is not, there's a tut on YouTube.
I used 2 Digi Darla's images: Single Sunflower1 & Sunny Sunflower. Printed one out 3 times and colored them all with prisma colored pencils. Used an embossing folder from SU and used some DP from SU also.
First, A BIG THANK YOU for picking me as a favorite. Here I am back again at Chic Challenges with a digital card front from MDS2, I really like making cards with my hands instead of my eyes but I started playing with this sketch and MDS2 and I liked it! Here's the wonderful sketch.
Father's Day is coming up so I made a Father's Day card.
Again, I colored with prisma colored pencils. The flourish is a SU diecut for the Bigshot. The butterfly is a punch and matching stamp from SU. My sentiment is from MDS2 and punched out with a frame punch from SU. I used an embossing folder from cuttlebug (using DD One cup Daisy)
Now this weeks challenge at Digi Darla's is "Make It Masculine"
I used DD Cutie Cowboys.
Again I colored with prisma colored pencils. Embossing folders are from cuttlebug and SU. I used a word window punch from SU for my sentiment.
