Lasting Memories challenge #23 Sketch

I liked the way this turned even though it was some what challenging. The pics came out kinda good even though it was dark and my camera isn't a professional (and neither am I!)
I did the journaling on Word and stamped the swirlies before I laminated them. The corners were done with the cuttlebug. I stamped a couple of swirlies (mostly cuz they were on my table and I was too lazy to get up and look for something else, boy do I need my stairway to nowhere to be a stairway to somewhere) and cut them out.
Added some ribbon and some BLING (of course) and I was done!

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #73

I did this LO for Stampin sisters in  Christ. My MOM painted this for our Church in 1955, and my cousin took a pic and sent it to me (she took it with her phone) and I did a LO.  They wanted a vintage creation and I think this qualifies!
I stamped a flower and colored it in with colored pens found at Sam's (of all places). Found a magnet frame that fit her pic perfectly. Used my spellbinders in my cuttlebug. Printed a Bible verse on Word, Punched out some circles for some of my journaling and also stamped some. Used some paper doilies (however you spell that) and some flowers, sequins and bling from my stash. I also doodled some on it.

Flutterby Wednesday #139

I made this card for Flutterby Wednesday. It had to be white with only the main character colored. I had a tough time leaving it alone infact my friend was laughing at me cuz I was looking for anything white!
I used my cuttlebug and embossed. I used a green sparkly ribbon for the branch. cut out an oval with spellbinders. Punched out some WHITE little butterflies and put vellum underneath them
to simulate fluttering.
Quilled my main flutterby
and some leaves and WA-LAH
and it's WHITE!!!

Challenge #22 Stamp Away

This is my brother and my SIL's wedding photo. I stamped our last name in brilliance stamping ink and added some swirly's in the same stamping ink and I cheated, used my WORD for the sentiments. This was engraved on their rings in Hebrew and I put in English also! The flowers & BLING (of course) are from my stash.

LMCB Challenge #21

Our LO's contain ribbon buttons and some color and what cuter pics are these? I made this LO for my friend of her grandson.
WHAT A MESS!!!The large pic I printed on vellum, as well as the titles printed on WORD. The stair steps are buttons (AND BLING of course) I don't like to throw anything away, so I wrapped ribbon on the plastic spool that redline tape is on.

Flutterby Wednesday

I made this card for Flutterby Wednesday. I used Martha Stewart Border punch. The butterfly was from a photo. The stamp,rub-on's, flower's and sequin leaves were from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment was from WORD and then I punched out using SU word punch. Oh, I also used a butterfly corner punch. I also cut out the butterfly with my cuttlebug. Also I made it raised (which you cannot see) by cutting out another wing from the same photo.

ZULU

I COULDN'T RESIST!!!

It's almost as if he posed for this pic. My fat cat has taken off his reindeer antler's and is done for the year but...

(NOT DONE EATING OF COURSE!!!)

Mary Beth's birthday

I realized how much I missed creating my quilling and my cousin's birthday is the 5th of Jan., so I made her a little something. I saw this in a how-to book but I had to make my own measurements. I love this Face in the Hole picture. (IT LOOKS REAL)
I quilled on the front and cut the hole with spell Binders in my Cuttlebug and used my WORD for the labels on the back. I punched one label out with the Word punch from SU. Of Course I HAD TO ADD SOME BLING!!!

Saturday, January 1, 2011

I like finding my childhood friend and getting together so quickly although we couldn't visit too much at the renaissance (too many things to see). I'm looking forward to another visit to share some memories.
I used some paper I had a long time. Some rub-ons,flowers and the swirly bling from Hobby Lobby. The larger leaves and stickers are from Lone Star in Conroe. The smaller leaves are sequins I got from Hobby Lobby (or somewhere) The journaling and the little frame, I printed on the WORD program on vellum  (am now enjoying journaling). The word punch and label punch are from SU. I also used little brads I got from Lone Star and I
used some bling from my stash (of course)
