MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I don't have a card for you today but I re-purposed a box that I got a gift in last year. The ornaments are Digi Darla's 'Ornament set 1 2 3 colored with copic markers, fussy cut out and I added some stickles for sparkle.

The ornaments are hanging with ribbon and I also re-purposed a Christmas bow (curly ribbon). The lrg snowflakes are stickers and the small snowflakes are sequins.

This is my cutie patootie nephew.

My designer paper is from SU as well as my ornament punches that are a match with my stamps from SU also, I cut out my circle with my cricut and the ribbon was on a gift box that I repurposed. I promised my sis I would make her a paper one and I made a digital one for me, when I get a chance I will enter it at Digitally Sweet.

A Month in Review #1

At Lasting Memories, we are doing a Month in Review so I made a digital calendar for my cousin of some of her LOVELY paintings and there is 12 pages and instead of one, I'm showing you all 12. I GUESS IT WILL BE LIKE THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS FOR HER! LOL!!! I tried to keep them simple (which is hard for me) so her beautiful artwork would stand out!

Digi Darla's #42

Good Morning my talented friends! It's Monday and that means Digi Darla's has a brand new challenge for us! Add some embossing to your image. It can be wet embossing or dry embossing!

I chose both, JUST TO MAKE SURE! LOL! I wet embossed my frame from SU

 and my manger from 'SOMEWHERE' I colored my DD image called 'Drummer Boy'  with prisma colored pencils and added stickles in various spots!

My favorite Christmas song is 'The Little Drummer Boy' 

SO THIS IS PERFECT!

I made a boo, boo. When I printed my pix, I chose too small, but I didn't want to throw them away, so I used them on the train. The letters are Thickers.

Digi Darla's #41 'Snow Fun w/bling

It's time for another challenge at Digi Darla's!

I got my inspiration from my friend, Annie! I used my Cricut to cut out a topiary and then I cut out a small circle card with spellbinders and for the embossed circle in the center, I used an ornament punch from SU. I used 2 Digi Darla's images (Shiny Snowflakes and Love Peace Hope Joy)Of course I added bling from my stash!

LM #118 'Anything but Snow'

Good Morning! It's Sunday! That means Lasting Memories has a brand new challenge for us 'Anything but Snow' Well here in El Paso we have anything but snow! The nights are just starting to get kinda cold! Lasting Memories is being sponsored by 'Cedar chest'. I didn't have to color my digi 'Stars where Gleaming'. I put a different color of stickles on each star, green, red and gold. I have every color of stickles (Thanks to Elizabeth!) Love them!

I used stars as my shapes. I cut these out using my Cricut and for the smaller ones, I used a punch. I embossed some of my stars using a chevron folder from SU.

I created a LO.

This is my house with 22 stars and now we have 25. Simply bc I don't like even nos. and Gwen doesn't like the no. 23 hence 25 (At this rate  we should have 50 by the time Christmas rolls around! LOL!)

Time for another fantastic challenge at Digi Darla's.

This week we are challenged to make a Children's Christmas Card!

My image is Digi Darla's 'Peter Piper'

My DP is very thick glitter paper. I colored my image with prisma colored pencils and popped him up with pop dots. My ornament is from SU and so is my sentiment. I punched out some musical notes and put them on a word window punch from SU. The bling is from my stash!

Do you know how hard it is to find pics of Snow in El Paso!

Well found some taken in 2009 that I haven't scrapped yet just waiting until the right moment and that moment is now! (Yesterday the high was 75)

Anyhoo, I cut out my snowflakes with my CRICUT The paper was already embossed and the letters are metallic thickers. The label is a punch from SU. I glued the embossed paper on a metallic 12x12 sheet which incidentally was not easy to photograph, I had to get some tips from the photographer, Karen

It's all about FRIENDS at Digi Darla's this week and we are being sponsored by Beccy's Place and she gave some of our DT's an image to work with and I was one of the lucky ones! I chose 'Holly Fairy'

I colored her with copic markers. The bling and paper is from my stash, the ribbon and the ornament punches are from SU. The sentiments are from MDS. Oh and it is a gatefold card!

I also made a friendship card using a Digi Darla image.

'A Mouse and his Cheese'

I used prisma colored pencils for coloring, a die cut from SU. The flowers and the sequins are from my stash. This is a round easel card

I thought this image was perfect bc the mouse looks like he's sharing his cheese!

At Jackson's Digital Expressions we are challenged to create a CAS but there is a twist...You have to use some patterned paper. I thought my 'Lil Matadore' would be perfect, isn't he cute!

I don't do bull fights bc I ALWAYS WANT THE BULL TO WIN! Colored him with copic markers and fussy cut him out (didn't get too fussy though!) I tried to keep it masculine which is hard cuz I like girlie swirlie things. Added some gold stickles on his outfit. Thanks to Elizabeth, I have stickles in every color! My patterned paper and bling is from my stash. I embossed with a folder from SU in my Bigshot.
