A La Card Monkey Challenge Entry

A La Card Monkey challenged us to do a card which contained pennants.

This was fun cuz I hadn't done pennants before ( well maybe I did once) but I never made digital pennants.  I saw some in My Digital Studio so I had to get them!
Last week I was a Monkey Princess. I sure was surprised! So many people do beautiful work. (The more I looked at my entry, the more I saw a sonogram. LOL!) It was a perfect ending for a yukki day! Anyhoo here's my card. I'm quite pleased with my card and yes it is digital. Why I never do anything easy I DON'T KNOW! It wasn't hard, just time consuming.

I added some stamps to the inside, I bought from Jean at my SU class.
Made my own label and my own matching paper with My Digital Studio as well!
I usually make scrapbook LO's but I'm having alot of fun making cards. Hopefully my stash will build up!

Lasting Memories challenge #49 Christmas in July.

Our LO's at Lasting Memories were to have a Christmas theme and I REALLY DID have a Christmas in July party! In 2009 I broke my wrist and couldn't do ANY crafts (it drove me bonkers) So I made up a Christmas and what better time than July except no cold weather! Put up a tree and all the decorations, everyone thought I was NUTS! (even put lights outside) I made a two-page spread digitally (go figure).

I added a couple of rub-ons and some bling. I also added a couple of my new stamps from Stampin' Up. Also, the poinsettias are stickers from Hobby Lobby.

Flutterby Wednesday #164

The challenge this week was to add stripes to your creation. I added stripes with my digital program and inked my label digitally. COOL!!! All the products are from Stampin' Up.

The inside of my card.
Check out my very own label. When I went to my SU class on Sat., I wanted to buy a personal stamp but the one I wanted said hand stamped by and I don't always use stamps. I was disappointed until I discovered I could make my own digitally (How silly am I)

A La Card Monkey Challenge Entry

I saw this challenge on my friends blog!  The challenge was salt & pepper color challenge challenge and to follow this sketch. I love black & white but it was a challenge to use only black & white!

I used my SU for my main card base and then added a frame fromSU's hodgepodge hardware that I got at Saturday's class After I laminated it, I added my frame and butterflies and bling.    (Sorry the frames are retired)

Lasting Memories challenge #48 ENTRY

At Lasting memories it's all about the title. THE TITLE NEEDS TO BE BIG & BOLD! I made my ABC big & bold with my digital program. He had fun! there was only 4 in the class, no problem with socialization. (maybe loves everyone)
As you can tell it's a digi LO!

The pic on the bottom right is when he adopted us. LOL!

SU class

I went to my monthly Stampin' Up class & made these 3 cards. Had so much fun and ordered things also! And got some inspiration too! LOL I'm making a card from the inking tutorial that Jean did.

I won this card from my friend and Stampin' Up demonstrator. (JEAN ADDIS)
Isn't she talented?!
Here's the card I made. My inspiration was a fan at Jean's. My friend collects fan's and her birthday is sat.

Lasting Memories challenge #48 It's all about the title!

Today's challenge at Lasting Memories is all about the title! BIG,BOLD TITLES! Check out the other DT's LO's at Lasting Memories. Just click the Lasting Memories label on my side bar and it will send you right there. This day I was feeling particularly LAZY so I was singing the lazy song. (I don't know why I agreed to having my pic taken.)
I used My Digital Studio! At the time they didn't have a letter punch that I could add designer paper to (now they do and I got that download. I suppose alot of people wanted them!) so I made a bunch of rectangles and put them together like letters and added my designer paper.

I did add my own BLING and such!

July challenge for Scrapbookers Anonymous

This month over at Scrapbookers Anonymous was to use a difficult color or a color that was building up in your stash! Even though I love this color, it was very difficult to scrap!  It sat on my table for a couple of weeks before I finished it.
I couldn't match the color and I just didn't like my LO. LOL! It came out alright (I GUESS) I picked it, RIGHT! Anyhoo this pic was taken by my friend in Japan. Never seen a WHITE peacock before!
I wet embossed my peacock stamp from SU in silver embossing powder and I also embossed my peacock feathers (I got from somewhere) and cut them out and put them in a flower pot I made. Popped them up with pop dots and added some bling. I made the "F " in my digital studio.

I used my punch and stamp from the four frames set from SU. The little frames are  cool don't you think?

I couldn't match the color so I made my paper also, with my digital software.
Here's a better pic of the white peacock, Julie.

Lasting Memories challenge #47 Distressing

I did my distressing from my digital software and I had to put on my thinking cap!

I did distress my four frames stamp and punch from SU manually with an emery board and some chalk and popped it up with some dimensional dot's.
This flower I got from Michael's, when I asked Sue about them. (Thanks Sue!) I got the bling from Hobby Lobby a while back.

See I put these torn edges in with My Digital Studio. (Looks like torn paper and then like it was inked.)

Lasting Memories challenge #46 Photo Mosaic entry

This was the most time consuming thing I've done in digital so far! (probably cuz I'm not sure what I'm doing yet) I did this all because I wanted to use my new stamps from SU (the geisha girl and the tea pot) SU doesn't have these stamps in digital yet so I stamped them and made them into a picture and then I could make them any size I wanted.  I'm very pleased with the way my page turned out, what do you think?
(The dolls are from my doll collection)

Lasting Memories challenge #46 Photo Mosaic

I tried to figure out how to mosaic digitally and by jove, I think I GOT IT! Of course I added some things of my own. I ordered these little mosaic-ing tiles a while back and they came in handy.  I also added some stickers and sequins and BLING.

July entry for Scrapbudz Blog

We used this sketch for our July LO at Scrapbudz!
Sorry my pics aren't very good but you get the jist!
This is my week to week of my puppy Sam who has doubled in size since I got him!
(I've had him only 1 month. The coffee table is glass and he forgets anything is there and he DOESN'T FIT anymore LOL!)

My LO is digital but I did add some things of my own! Like some bling and a flourish.

July LO for Our Vintage affair

We were to do this sketch with at least 1 homemade flower!

Homemade Flowers! I couldn't pass up the chance to make some quilled flowers.
My picture and the LO sketch is digital but I added some touches of my own too. I embossed and cut out my butterfly with my cuttlebug and of course I had to add Bling.

I really LOVE quilling!

Lasting Memories challenge #45 Tri Shutter mini album

My sister got a new puppy the basically the same time I did only her's is bigger! It's a chocolate Great Dane! He's 6 months old, weighing about 90 lbs. already! I made her a tri shutter album of him so far!
I liked making this album, it was cool.
I'm pleased with the way in turned out.
I made a little shadow box I got from my friend Renee.

Hope my sister likes it! I DO!

Lasting Memories challenge #45 Summer theme mini album

I made a matchbook mini album and added some Bling and flowers. I got these office clips from Office Depot. Although it called for eyelets but I didn't want to make it permanent yet because I want to add more pics.
I had to do something digital so I made each page a mini digital LO and laminated it then I applied a tab punch from SU. I made little vellum pockets for each LO! (sounds like alot of work but it was fun) I also used a stamp & punch set from SU for the title. Love these
little frogs with Bling on them!
