What a lovely couple, if I do say so myself. Our challenge this week was to create a LO including RED, PINK and WHITE for valentine's.
I'm not too savy on the computer but I'm learning, (POOR KAREN!) Jean said she was a sweetheart, she was right!!! Last time I tried to post, I deleted Sue's LO! Now I'm scared to post my own so I'm sending them to Karen! LOL!!!!!
Any-hoo I got a rose digi from Stef at Glitterbabe's. Cut 4 to add some dimension. The middle of the two wedding rings, I did a little iris folding. My journaling was done on Word (if you couldn't tell I like Word) I added a couple of rub-ons and I twisted and twirled paper for all my quilling (I did get paper cuts, THE DANGERS OF SCRAPBOOKING :D). I added some BLING of course. I did cut out my journaling with nesties and the circles with my cricut. I got the paper from Michaels and also the heart background.
THANK-YOU STEF FOR SPONSORING US AND THANKS FOR THE DIGI!!!
PS I did get a couple of new cricut cartridges from a link that Sue sent me. THEY LOOK COOL AND I CAN'T WAIT TO USE THEM!
Oh, while I was looking at some LO's I found this new widget! (It's the cutsie little moving kitty)

Beautiful! I love the way you've colorized the photos and overlapped them with the pattern paper in the middle!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, I did several layouts of may parents wedding, I may have to redo a couple after being inspired by this one.
ReplyDeletethis is absolutely beautiful!! I love the two toned photos....it really adds to this page I think....awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic page! I love all the different elements you added, especially the iris folding. That's a neat technique that I've not tried yet!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea of using different toned photos on the same page. Great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout. I love duplicating pictures also in my layouts. Thanks for the nice welcome and comment on my blog. I hope I can continue submitting
ReplyDeleteLOL.... Do you really send your layout to Karen to upload?? That's kind of funny. I'm glad you liked that site. What Cricut cartridges did you get? I just got one at Walmart today - Celebrate with Flourish. I can't wait to use it. Your page is wonderful. Great photo of your parents. I love that you used different effects for the photo. That iris folding is awesome. I have never done that before. I will have to try in a small spot like you did. It really looks great. Great bling and the digis are awesome. Great work.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful very vintage-looking layout. I also entered a layout at Lasting Memories.
