Digi Darla's #22

Our challenge this week at Digi Darla's is "Things with Wings" sponsored by Bugaboo stamps. My Bugaboo is called "Silhouette Hummingbird Flowers" It's an easel card, I cut out with spellbinders, the sentiment is from SU and so is the die cut "Lattice" I also recycled a mobile of hummingbirds.

I created an oval card with my DD image. (Flower Fairy)  I colored it with copic's and put some stickle's on the fairy wing's. The flowers are from my stash, the leaves are sequins and I found some teensy tiny buttons for my bee's and dragonfly's

Lasting Memories #99

This week at LMCB we are "Mining for silver" Boy did I hit a big silver mine! OK, I admit I got a little carried away with the silver (well alot!) If it was silver, PUT IT ON THERE!

No digital here! I thought, all these metal labels from SU (Hodgepodge hardware) looked cool! I also embossed a circle out of metallic paper, the same size as my bottle cap, to make it look like I embossed my bottle cap. Added some more of some BLING and I found these metal letters.

Digi Darla's #21

Our challenge at Digi Darla's is "Anything with Wheels", so here is my creation!

This delightful image was already colored! (Garden Girl colored #7) Cut it out with Spellbinders and used a Martha Stewart border punch for the fence and added some flowers and bling. This is a variation of the center step card. 

Lasting Memories #98

Show us your Black & White with a splash of color! I actually made this LO for a MDS contest and then I found out I couldn't use it! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! It's all digital. I figured out how to add a pic in a punch! I couldn't use it bc it is a professional photo and since they went out of business in the 80's, there was no way I could get a waiver.
It's a two page spread, but the 1st page met the challenge.

Our family wasn't done yet, here's my adorable little sister!

2nd Entry for Lasting Memories #97

Unlike my other LO of my sisters dogs, this one is all digital! I just used the color gold! I love this pic of Sam cuz he is TUCKERED out!

Color me Creative #47

At Color me Creative we were challenged to use hues of dark blue!

I chose a darling image from Digi Darla's.  Morning glories are generally blue and some dark blue!

It's a variation of the gatefold card.

I colored it with a combo of Copics and Prismacolor pencils! The morning glory is Copics (B21, B24,B20, B69, &BV 08) while the little girl is Prisma. I cut out a scalloped circle and then embossed it with a folder from SU. Cut out my image but left a white border, so it could be seen better and then popped it up. The added bling is from my stash.

My image is "Bobble Head Cat"

This is first time I used "Prismacolor pencils and I like the way it came out! I chose to make my cat stripped and used my own cat as a model. He couldn't figure out why I kept starring at him! LOL! I found the 2 punches in my stash. They were meant for water splashes but I thought they made a perfect mustache. Cut it out with spellbinders and embossed a panel with an embossing folder from SU! I also used some small goggly eyes. For my sentiment I used a word window punch from SU.

Digi Darla's #20

The theme this week at Digi Darla's is "Animal Cracker's" Use some kind of cute animal in your creation! I used Digi Darla's Lying Lion.

I made my background with MDS! It's an easel card and I fussy cut the lion out (didn't get too fussy! LOL!) I used my Cricut to cut out my silhouetted grass. Punched my label out with a SU punch. On his mane. I used some velvet flock (which I've had forever but never used) on random pieces but I got tired. Of course I had to add some bling.

Lasting Memories #97

GO FOR THE GOLD! Lasting Memories would like to see gold on your LO's this week. Gold enbellies, gold paper or just anything gold (you be the judge)

No digital here! My table sure reflects that! I embossed gold foil paper with a cuttle bug folder in my Big Shot. Cut my circle out with Cricut and made my label with MDS and my "Best Friends" label is from Digi Darla's. You are welcome to use this sketch. I DID!

Digi Darla's #19

This week we are doing a "Noah's Ark" project, but we did something a little different. We paired up in groups of 2! Here's my card.

This was so much FUN!!! My partner is Rachelle. Check out her creation here. Same image but totally different AWESOME card!

My card is a center step card. I colored my image with copics and used MDS for my digital part of this card.

2nd LO for LM #96

This is my 2nd LO for LM, Dancing with the Paws." These are my sister's fur babies. Rocky & (the little puppy) Cocoa (the big puppy) are inseparable! Both Great Danes!

The clock is a Digi Darla's image that I colored & removed the background in Paintbrush in minutes! It's a digital LO I created in MDS.

Jackson's Digital Expressions "Blog Hop"

Digi Darla's is sponsoring Jackson's Digital Expressions and the theme is "The Olympics". I'm wondering, is anyone going to win more than 5 gold metals like Michael Phelps?!

I chose DD "gymnastic stamp" which was already beautifully colored. WOOHOO!!! I did fussy cut it out but really didn't get to FUSSY! The card is a center stair step card. I made (what I think looks like) torches with My digital software from SU. My sentiment is from WORD and I used a metal label from SU. Of course I had to add some Bling and sticker's from my rather large stash.

Isn't this sketch just a winner and it's so easy peezey! The image I chose is "butterfly Beauty" and it is a beauty indeed!  I was so Happy with the way it turned out as I love butterflies! I made my card for a DT member, the very talented Karen and so it had to be extra special!

Part of my card is digital using Stampin' Up digital software and I printed my image out 3 times and colored it with copics, each one I colored different! Then I layered all the butterflies. COOL HUH! Also I used a window punch from SU for my sentiment
