This is mine

I colored my image with prisma colored pencils. I used two die cuts from spell binders and added pearls, bling, and buttons from my stash. Oh, I used a dry embossing folder from SU also.

It's Christmas in July at Lasting Memories!

I LOVE this pic of my Grandmother and me! I took it at the nursing home! 

The 2 trees were made with my cricut, and boy did I hold my tongue in my left cheek! LOL! (It was hard glueing these layers on the black-out tree) The Dove and the Holly leaves are labels from Sam's. I just bought this lacy die cut from spellbinders, that my journaling is in.

Lasting Memories #149

We saw some quite charming LO's last week and this week we would like t0 see how you use "Birds & Bees" on those LO's!

My flourishes are a diecut from SU in my Bigshot. The birds are from Su as well, a stamp with a matching punch, colored with prisma colored pencils, the butterflies are from SU too! The bees are buttons, the rest is from my stash.

I chose not to do birthday just 'Anything Goes',

How do you like my 'Steampunk Mermaid' from Delicious Doodles?

I colored her with prisma colored pencils. (help I'm going blind! So much detail!)

Your best friend is your sharpener and a magnifier glass.

I put her in an embossing frame and chalked on the embossing. I purposely colored her bold and just put a hint of color on the rock and water, so she would be the focal point.  Used an embossing folder with cogs. Pearls & nailheads are from my stash. I found a little cog I used as a frame on her tail  fins, then of course she got stickles! Oh, I forgot, I used a cuttlebug frame embosser and sprayed my lace with glimmer mist.
