Digi Darla #82

Good Morning and thanks for joining us!

Digi Darla has a new challenge for us this week.

It's 'Anything Goes w/ an optional twist "Harvest Moon"'

I used 'Pumpkins_Corn'. Colored it with prisma colored pencils, I made my digi a PNG and then made my own background with MDS2. I also made my 'Thanks' tag on WORD using clip art. Cut it out with grand nestabilities and popped it up with dimensional dots.

Wow! It's Friday again!

Time for a new challenge at Digitally Sweet.

It's ATG w/ Lacy Sunshine Stamps

 I used a cute little digi called 'Senor Pickles'

I colored it in paintbrush but I didn't have to remove the background as it came in JPEG & PNG! WOOHOO!

A Die For A Sketch

At 'A Die For A Sketch' we are challenged to use a minimum of one die and this sketch...

Isn't he just the cutest?! He's a retiring stamp from Lacy Sunshine Stamps and he's only $1.00! You'll find him here as well as some other fantastic digis!

I colored him with prisma colored pencils and then fussy cut him out (which I hate to do! LOL!) I found this rub-on of a peace sign for my circle die and the googly eyes are supposed to be little frogs (I need Heather, the artist and owner of Lacy Sunshine Stamps) 

WE'LL JUST CALL THEM 'ITS'!

I popped my peace sign and Pickles up with dimensional dots.

Oh and BTW, it's a variation gatefold card.

HAPPY TUESDAY!!!

At Flutterby Wednesday it's Anything Goes. (As long as you have a butterfly or fairy or more, if you would like!) WOOHOO!!!

My creation has a 'Sweet Pea Stamp' (love their art work, this is Ching Chou's

'Inner Tender'. There's my fairy! My butterfly is from SU 'Beautiful Wings' It's a die cut that has 5 butterflies and I layered all 5, I also used DSP and a border punch from SU (Can you tell I like SU?!) I colored a stamp from my stash, the embossing folder is a Sizzix. The bling and stickles is from my stash.

Hey it's our favorite at Created With Love Challenges "Anything goes" and I used another 'Sweet Pea Stamp' They are so cool, alot of detail!

I colored it with prisma colored pencils and copic markers. Again I am down to the wire on this but it took me alot longer than anticipated to color it! I used an embossing folder from sizzix. The flower and bling are from my stash. I added four different colors of stickles!

Flutterby Wednesdays #252

The Challenge this week at Flutterby Wednesdays is Fall colors and don't forget your fairy or butterfly!

This is easy, everything is Stampin' Up except the jewels and I cut out my round easel with Grand spellbinders

Lacy Sunshine Challenge #17

Lacy Sunshine Challenges are always ATG and this week she offering a free digi (if you used a Lacy Sunshine image last time) that I already have "Pearl' A beautiful mermaid!

I hate to fussy cut, I GET TO FUSSY! So I used a PNG and made my own background. I colored her with prisma colored pencils. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and some DSP from SU and a framelit die from SU also (the leaves) The little orange bubbles are from my stash and of course I used stickles. Don't the leaves look kinda like sea growth? Oh I did add some little tiny pearls. Isn't Heather's 'Pearl' pretty?!

Sweet Pea Stamps

This is a Sweet Pea Stamp called 'Poppies & Flutter' by Norma Burnell. I would like to enter this in 'Created With Love Challenges' & 'Sweet Pea Stampers'

CWL had a Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week.

I picked (embossing, flowers, & lace)

Sweet Pea Stampers challenged us to use Kraft CS

Isn't she gorgeous?!

Colored her with prisma colored pencils. I embossed the Kraft CS with a sizzix folder, used spellbinders for my die cuts. Sprayed my piece of lace with glimmer mist. The butterflies are a stamp from SU with a matching punch and jewels are from my stash. (of course I added stickles.

I chose the cute little 'OWLS'

I removed the background in Paintbrush and of course used my wonderful digital software from SU (MDS2)

My Grandmother loved owls and so do I! Tried to make it look like a quilt.

Sweet Pea September challenge

The challenge at 'One Sweet Challenge' is really a color challenge, use brown, yellow, orange, and red in honor of Autumn.

I got the perfect image, it Norma Burnell's "Hoot Owl".

Colored with prisma colored pencils. I used an embossing folder from cuttlebug. My DSP is from SU, I wet embossed with a decorative corner.

Lacy Sunshine Challenges #16

Our challenge is to use die cuts and/or punches, Well I used both and a beautiful Lacy Sunshine image 'Hannah'. She arrived in JPEG and PNG. Yesterday I did a little tutorial on PNG's, found here.

Since came in PNG which is a transparent border, I made my own background with my SU software 'MDS2'

Isn't she pretty and there are lots more pretty images here (check them out)

I cut out my basic card with spellbinders, the flourish die cut is from SU. the butterflies and the bird is a stamp and matching punch from SU. 

My image and butterflies and bird are colored with prisma colored pencils. The border punch is from 'Martha Stuart' I think...and the flowers are stickers.

I popped up alot of my elements with dimensional dots.

I used DD "Back To School word art" I colored it digitally in Paintbrush.

I kept it simple cuz I still have to add journaling.

This is my Great Nephew on his 1st day of kinder and first time he road a school bus!

Digitally Sweet Challenges #52

It's another fantastic Friday!

At Digitally Sweet it's our favorite challenge, ANYTHING GOES!

Hi! Our challenge at 'Created With Love Challenges' is CHRISTMAS SNOWFLAKES! Oh, I love snowflakes but Chris 'it isn't making me feel cooler. LOL!' It sure is a fun challenge though and helps me get a jump on Christmas cards!

I made a circular easel card using my winnings, a Bugaboo image 'Santas Reindeer globe' (isn't it fantastic?!)

I colored it with copic markers and boy was that scary, I kept telling myself 'It's only paper' Not being experienced with printer ink, I thought it was going to run! I embossed one of my circles with a cuttlebug folder but first I colored the folder with white ink. (just to see what would happen and I actually liked the effect) The ribbon is from SU. The snowflake sequins are from my stash.

I wet embossed a snowflake and punched it out with a matching punch from SU. Of course I added stickles and bling.

613 Avenue Create #35

The challenge for 613 Avenue Create is Anything Goes w/an optional twist 'Spotlighting' Never done that before but they have a video on the blog. Cool Technique!

I used a Digi Darla image 'Expecting Momma'

I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and rubbed ink over the embossing. The butterfly is from SU and I used a word window punch from SU also. I found a piece of ribbon in my stash.

Flutterby #249

Our challenge at Flutterby Wednesdays this week is to make a shaped card. No squares or rectangles. I decided to make a Middle Stairstep card! (just to see if I could!)
