Digi Darla's #95

Today is Digi Darla's last challenge for 2013 and it is Troll the Ancient Yule Time Carol inspired by a Song which is a fun challenge for me cuz I get inspired by songs! (Thanks Laura for challenging us this month!)

I used DD 'Amazing Grace sent' and my song is Amazing Grace. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and some spellbinder diecuts.

Sweet Pea Stampers

The challenge at Sweet Pea Stampers is Christmas/New Years.

My image is a Sweet Pea stamp by Ching Chou Kuik called 'Scarlet Holly'

Colored it with prisma colored pencils, used an embossing folder from sizzix, cuttlebug photo corners, & frame punch from SU. (Bling from my stash and stickels on her wing!

613 Avenue Create

This is my very first Canvas LO! 

Infact I never heard of these until my friend Karen Wilson showed me hers so she inspired me to make one!

The challenge at 613 Avenue Create is Anything Goes!

I made these stars and they are origami folds. The pix of the stars are my house and I am right by the airport and I'm sure it kinda looks like a land field! LOL! Gwen made them and she keeps adding more, now there are 43, they are taking over my driveway!

Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge

At Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge they challenged us to use white glitter or white frosting. They are being sponsored by Lacy Sunshine and I had the perfect image!

I needed a masculine card. This one is called Tipsy Holiday Timmy by Lacy Sunshine and boy did he get tipsy. He found a pink bow on a pkg and tied it on his hat. I used the PNG and made my own background with Template Dreams and MDS2. I colored him with copic markers and prisma colored pencils. The frosting or froth on the beer is overflowing with white glitter.

Word Art Wednesday

I used my digital software from SU, MDS2! My background paper is from Template Dreams, the rest is MDS2 except of course my word art!

This is a hybrid card I made for my BIL using 'Senor Pickles' Which is a Lacy Sunshine image. My BIL is pretty famous for his margarita in our family. I mostly used MDS2  but some of my elements are Template Dreams.

Lasting Memories #170

Good Morning!!!

WOW!!! I can't believe it's 10 more days until Christmas!

Lasting Memories has a new challenge for us this week. It's called 'I'm Charmed'Add a charm to your LO, so I made my own!

My digi's name is Heather Valentin's 'Twinkle Boo' from Lacy Sunshine.

I printed my digi out on Shrinky Dinks. She was a 4x6 size. What I did was colored her digitally and printed her and then cut her out but you gotta be real careful cuz I don't think the ink ever dry's since it's on plastic paper. B4 I shrunk her, I used my crop-a-dile to make a hole for a charm.

Isn't she ADORABLE?! My journaling says Artist Heather from Lacy Sunshine Stamps drew her for me THRILLED TO PIECES! I read her Angel Policy  but for some reason it just wasn't sinking in! LOL! (but I think it was a good thing so 'Twinkle Boo' could be born) I used the PNG and added her to my pic, printed and then colored her with prisma colored pencils. I found these cutsie little buttons for her pajamas in my stash and I added stickles to the stars. The lattice is a diecut from SU.

The challenge at Sweet Pea Stampers is 'It's cold outside'. Make a winter related creation.

I made another pizza box easel with 'Snowy Sirens' by Concetta Kilmer. These make perfect boxes for something small like candy! Colored my image with prisma colored pencils and added some stickles of course. I used a spellbinders die-cut and the frame with sentiment is from SU.

Isn't this just the cutest snowman, it called 'Sledding Snowman' by Digi Darla.

First I removed my background with WORD. I made a new background with MDS2 (computer fussy cutting)

Colored it with copic markers and then added stickles.

Hello and Good Morning!

Time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories and it is to use red, green and white!

This was last year at Christmas, my pups were not happy campers!

613 Avenue Create

It's our favorite at 613 Avenue Create and the optional twist is gift packaging so I made a mini pizza box.

I found the tut on You Tube and they are very easy to make.

My image is a Sweet Pea Stamp called 'Shy Dragon' by Lisa Victoria.

Colored it with prisma colored pencils and added stickles and bling from my stash. Found the lock & key in my stash also.

Used my SU software, MDS2. I colored the image with prisma colored pencils and then scanned it back into my computer and then I had two images, directly b4 this post I made my non-digital card but this one is 100% digital. (I did antique the image)

Word Art Wednesday

 This is the first time I have entered at Word Art Wednesday and I hope digital is OK.

I used a lunagirl image. She specializes in vintage victorian images! Check them out when you get a chance. I used my digital software from Stampin' Up, MDS2.

This wonderful scripture is already a PNG so I just added it as a photo.

The challenge at 'Created With Love Challenges' is CHRISTMAS and how fitting since Christmas is just around the corner!

I used a Digi Darla image called 'Winter Scene 1' Rather time consuming to color but in the end I Love It! I colored it with prisma colored pencils. The ornament is a punch from SU and so is the word window punch. Then I added sparkle, some diamond dust (love that stuff!)

Snow Angels

 is 'Snow Angels'. My sister's birthday is the 9th so I made her this birthday card.

I used a collage sheet of Angel Children from Lunagirl.

I made 2 pics with my digital software from SU, MDS2. Her favorite color is blue. I printed out the pics and made an easel card! I added flowers and snowflakes from my stash.

I made a banner of tags. The tags were recycled from some Hallmark tags. I colored my image with prisma colored pencils, fussy cut them out, and popped them up on the tags.

Hello!

If you live in the US, you're probably suffering from TURKEY OVERLOAD! LOL! Time for Christmas and that cold weather.

Well anyhoo, it's time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories and it is called 'Snowflakes or Snowballs'

Last week-end we had our first snow of the season and it wasn't much snow but it sure was cold! Silly Gwen was putting stars up and every once in a while she had to get thawed out and my Sam (the dog) does not like cold weather in the least! Made my LO with MDS2.

Well yesterday was Thanksgiving for the US and alot of us are suffering from TURKEY OVERLOAD! LOL!

Anyhoo we have a new challenge for you at Digitally Sweet and it's an inspiration photo

Made it with MDS2. I used four Lunagirl images. the single bird, the pic of two birds, the flower and the key with lock.

Sweet Pea Stamper's

The challenge over at Sweet Pea Stamper's is add alot of texture.

You don't have to use a Sweet Pea Stamp but why not?!

The have some fantastic stamps for every occasion and alot of different artists.

I used an image called 'The Gift' by Norma Burnell.

The two frames are dry embossed with a cuttlebug folder. I colored my image with prisma colored pencils, micro beads on the ornament, liquid pearls and some bling from my stash. The frame for my SU sentiment is a stamp with a matching punch from SU. (I had these perfect little square gold beads that were perfect for the neckline on her dress.)

CWLC with Lunagirl

The challenge at Created With Love Challenges was to make project with miss you or sympathy. I made a sympathy card for my friend that just lost her Grandmother. My image is a Lunagirl image and if you love everything vintage like I do, you will check out her images.

Her images are so easy to work with, the images are already colored or ready for a card.

in fact this is the second time I photographed it. (I felt guilty that it didn't take long at all so I added the butterflies from SU, Which is a stamp and matching punch. LOL!)

My DP is from Hobby Lobby.
