Scrapbookers Anonymous in Nov.

Scrapbookers Anonymous challenged us to dig in our stash & use at least 7 types of ribbon so I created my LO using some ribbon weaving. Check out the DT-s awesome creations by clicking on Scrapbookers Anonymous on my side-bar.

This is my puppy. He's only 6 1/2 months old but he already weighs about 65 lbs.

Flutterby Wednesday #178

Our challenge at Flutterby was to create a project using Thank-you or Grateful. Don't forget to add your Angel, Fairy or Butterfly. I chose a patriotic card. I have a patriotic angel I got from the web and I used MDS for my card. I put it on a card but the colors look better like this.

Here's my card but I like the color better before I took my pic with my camera.

A La Card Monkey Challenge Entry #81

Here's our inspiration sketch. And no, I didn't use MDS but I did use SU. This stamp set was on my table and just begging to be used! Be sure and check out the awesome inspirationals that were created by the DT's  Just click A La Card Monkey on my side-bar. (You will be impressed)

I used DSP from SU and "Wings of Friendship" set by SU my friend and demonstrator sold me at our work shop. I didn't have a scallop punch so I punched out circles that I stamped and added some bling. I used a label punch like Terry for my tag. But the ribbon was not SU! (and neither was the bling, I guess I didn't use all SU! LOL!)

Lasting Memories & Fashionable Stamping challenges

At Lasting Memories we were challenged to use Sepia and Earthtones and at Fashionable Stamping challenges we were to create something reflecting "Times Gone By".
This challenge I found really exciting cuz I love vintage! Seems like I love alot of things! I see vintage as being sepia and I love using my lovely stamps! SURPRISE, NO DIGITAL HERE! My pic is sepia and it is my little sister, my big brother and my mom and of course ME with the snaggle teeth.

I used DSP from SU and I used quite a few stamps. The clock was stamped and the torn and chalked. The letters were stamped, cut out and then chalked. The swirls were stamped and then chalked also. Of course I quilled 2 flowers and I did add some bling!

SUO Challenge #31

SUO challenged us to use a sentiment "Thinking of you" Remember Stampin' Up products only. Actually I used 2 sentiments but they are both SU. I did the main card out of MDS of course. The 2nd sentiment, I put on the four frames set and punched it out using the matching punch. (really neat) I also used some swirls from the "Wings of Friendship" set. (I think it is retired).

I use these flowers quite a bit and they remind me of that packaged rose soap!

Paper Lovin' Gal's #3

I was so honored to be the winner of their 2nd challenge which was Halloween-ie. My side-bar doesn't want to accept my pics (not sure why) so I will do it like this for now.

What inspires you about this photo?

Well, I picked iris folding! I absolutely love iris folding. I looked at my dining room table and it's full of remnants from past projects (I'm working in a space big enough for my paper cutter.) DO I WANT TO CLEAR IT OFF? Not no but NO! How can I do iris folding in digital? This is what I came up with.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #113

Stampin' Sisters in Christ is doing a challenge which is inspired by ISAIAH 1:18.Scripture:  Isaiah 1:18 "'Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’”

The challenge is to use fall colors (crimson, orange, gold ...)

I made a card but when I took the pic, I didn't like the colors (yes it's digital)

Here the colors are more true and the colors are what I liked!
