Stampin' Sisters in Christ #134

Stampin' Sisters in Christ is inspired by scripture and there's a new challenge every Sunday and I look forward to each and every Sunday! (I get double the pleasure bc I'm challenge coordinator at LM, which is Sunday also!) The scripture this week is:

SCRIPTURE:
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."  Hebrews 12:2-3

This is the 1st time I've made one of these cards and it was actually fun to make, I got the instructions from YouTube. It's a recessed frame card.
I didn't get my quilled cross exactly even and it bugs me but... I cut out a frame using Grand Spellbinders and embossed a matt with my Cuttle Bug. Added some jewels and WALA!
I used 2 sentiments from Digi Darla's. You can find more here. She not only makes excellent digi's that you can color but some pretty awesome sentiments as well!
The challenge is:
CHALLENGE:
Make a joy-ful card;
                            something celebratory!
I made this Birthday card for REV DARRL WATTS whose birthday is tomorrow and is now recovering from a stroke! (Quite a joyous occasion!) He used to give services at Mountain View Nursing Care where my Grandmother stayed! CHECK OUT THE OTHER AWESOME INSPIRATION by clicking Stampin' Sisters in Christ on my side bar.

Paper Lovin' Gals #26

What do you see in this gorgeous inspiration photo? COLORS, LO or EASTER!
I saw all of the above! My golden egg is from Michaels and it just happened to be hollow. Cut off the front and decorated it with Quilling and some glass beads.
I also cut out some pretty dragonflies & butterflies from Digi Darla's. find alot more beautiful digi's here. I colored my digis with a combination of Paintbrush and Copic markers.

This golden chocolate bunny came from Walgreens along with some other candy and grass. This is an adult Easter basket!

We are being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish for these 2 weeks:
I created 2 cards! Here's the one with the wonderful Robyn's Fetish image. I used  the "Primitive pitcher" I removed the background in FREE Paintbrush online and added the words "grow from love" in Paintbrush also. I used MDS for my main card and also used a lace border punch from SU and some ribbon from my stash.

Here's my card I created with DIGI DARLA'S "paisly Peacock" Love the colors! I colored it with PAINTBRUSH and loaded it in MDS and made my card and then printed it and made a center step card. I used that same lace border punch from SU (the rest of the elements are from my stash.)

Spinning Easel Card

Actually, I'm pretty excited about my card! It came out cool. This is the 1st time I made one of these! At Stampin' Sisters in Christ we were to create something with movement or interactive or ect... They are inspired by scripture and this week the scripture is:

SCRIPTURE:
Luke 15:20 “So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.”

Then I thought "Hey the challenge at Flutterby is open this week and I have  butterflies and an angel. (You have to have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation)

I colored my Angel Digi with copics and made a spinning easel card with the directions on YouTube. Check out lots more awesome digi's here.
Here's my card!
I colored the other side purple (don't know if you can tell bc it's spinning. LOL!)

Paper Lovin' Gals #24

Whew! Just in the nick of time! I've been looking at this all week but somehow threw my back out and haven't been feeling up to par! So glad they added an extra day! Since, it seems I really like the color green, I had to enter and this is what I came out with.

It's true easel card cuz it doesn't fold flat to mail but since I'm not mailing it
"No Le Hace" (my Grandparents said that all the time) My BigShot was not quite big enough to except my big scallop spellbinder, so I had to tape it. I also cut the scroll out with my BigShot, the other elements were in my stash. I also used the embossing folder from SU in my BigShot. This cute Easter basket digi came from Digi Darla's. I'm always amazed at her cute digi's and there are so many I always find what I need! Check them out Here. I colored my digi with (made of GOLD) copics. (With the price they should color my digi with twitching my nose!)
I did chalk my embossing with yellow chalk.
Here's the beautiful inspiration photo and check out all the other beautiful inspiration! Just click Paper Lovin' Gals on my sidebar!

Lasting Memories #82

It's April Fools and we would like for you to show us something hidden like journaling or extra photos ect...
I chose to do some journaling behind a Digi Darla's door. Most of my LO is digital except for the door (well it's a digi that I printed out) I colored my digi with copic markers and then redline taped it to my LO over the journaling. No reason for this pic except I liked it (handsome Sam) It reminded me of that movie ET when he tried to blend in with the stuffed animals in the closet.
Check out more Digi Darla's images here.

Feel free to use this wonderful sketch!
