A La Card Monkey #84

Here's our inspiration sketch from A La Card Monkey. Of course we can create a Christmas card but it is anything goes. Check out the awesome inspirational creations by clicking on the Monkey on my sidebar.

I chose to make a masculine Christmas card for my BIL.

The card is digital and I made an easel card and put some ornamental staples on with my fastenator (that I just had to have but it was on my table and I thought it looked kinda cool!)

Lasting Memories #66

COLOR ME HAPPY and me is happy! The inspiration photo has some very pretty colors and Lasting Memories gave us a sketch to use if we wanted to. I didn't use the sketch although I really like it.

Just look at those colors! WOW! Me is happy.

I used MDS (as if you didn't know! LOL!)

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #116

Stampin' Sisters in Christ is inspired by scripture and this week it is:
JOB 13:15"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.”

Challenge:  Make a card of praise using music, stamp, or design paper, or just the word "praise."

Well, we're on week #3 of Shirley's Christmas bloghop. I got inspiration from a pic I saw on yahoo e-mail! It had a choo choo train carrying a Christmas tree and I thought that was pretty COOL!

Scrapbookers Anonymous "D"

It's all about the "D's" at Scrapbookers Anonymous! We're doing our ABC's and we are on the letter "D". I picked DRILL and I found a perfect Digi at Digi Darla's which I am proud to be on her DT! See I have alot of "D's" (Oh and by the way my name is Denise, so there's another "D"! This drill is so detailed (but all I know is it drills holes) Check out all the other digis at Digi Darla's. http://digidarla.com/

Anyhoo, I water marked a back ground pic in MDS, cut out my drill digis (which are very COOL! I might add) I also made a ruler with MDS (also very COOL!), cut my circle out with my cricut, added a hodgepodge metal label from SU, and I bought these brads that look like screws along time ago and forgot I had them! I used my fastenater that I had to have but didn't know how to use it! (I'm sure everyone has things like that!)

Lasting Memories #65

At Lasting Memories, they didn't have just 1 inspiration photo,THEY HAD 3! Couldn't decide so I used all 3. I saw blue and white and snow on the first one.

The second one, I saw the beautiful colors of a sunset and snow.

The 3rd one, I saw Wood, green, outdoorsy, and COLD.
